The Boston Celtics managed to get their act together and won the series’ game seven against the Atlanta Hawks. The game ended 99 – 65 for Boston, after leading the game from start to finnish. Kevin Garnett scored 18 points and had 11 rebounds, Paul Pierce had 22 points, Rajon Rondo scored 10 and dished 6 assists, Kendrick Perkins also had 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Olympic torch has reached
Hong Kong this week, and the pro-Tibetan protests became less felt. The event,
which involved 120 runners, tool place without major incidents, except for some
protesters who were clearly outnumbered by police force and Chinese flag
wearers.
The torch has clearly entered
familiar territory for the first time in its journey. So far, the tradition of
the Olympic torch relay has been overshadowed by protests in major cities such
as Paris, London or San Francisco, as a response to China’s attitude towards
the situation in Tibet.

Annika Sorenstam is taking some
time off from the golf tournaments, as she revealed on Tuesday in a press
conference. The reason: there are other priorities in her life at the moment,
on both personal and professional level. The Swedish-native player said she
would retire at the end of the year, amid wedding preparations and plans to fulfill
some golf-related projects.
