Los Angeles - When high-flying Vince Carter went down, rookie Chris Douglas-Roberts stepped up. Devin Harris scored 21 points and Douglas-Roberts added 18 off the bench as the New Jersey Nets beat the Miami Heat 100-98 in overtime on Thursday night in pre-season play.
