It seems like even Electronic Arts wasn’t very happy about
the latest installment of its famous franchise, Need For Speed. Although it features
some interesting aspects, Need For Speed: Pro Street was criticized for its lack of
a compelling storyline, police car chases and unrealistic handling of cars.

On Tuesday, during the Games Convention Developers Conference, Dave Perry, of the Shiny Entertainment studio, presented his take on the gaming industry. On Monday, Sony made an announcement that has probably brought big smiles on gamer faces all over the world. Figures released by the NPD show that July was the month when the US video game industry saw a decline in overall sales. However, the sales were up 28 percent compared to last year and experts believe that they will reach the $22 billion figure by the end of the year.
