Health officials say the number of people dying from cholera in Zimbabwe is on the increase with hundreds seeking medical help in South Africa. Poor sanitation and water shortages are to blame for cholera, which is a water-borne disease that causes vomiting and acute diarrhoea, it can also lead to death from dehydration. The World Health Organisation says 294 people have been killed by the outbreak and around 6000 people are infected. Basmah Fahim reports. Hundreds are crossing into neighbouring South Africa for medical treatment.
