Workers strike again in Chile

Government services in parts of Chile are paralyzed as thousands of public workers go on strike, demanding higher wages. In cities like Santiago and Valpariso, piles of trash build up on city streets, schools are closed and passport agencies shut as civil servants strike again in Chile. Sarah Irwin reports.SOUNDBITES: Francisco Vidal, Government spokesman, saying: (Spanish) "It's the final decision the government will make. There will be no more negotiations and it will be voted upon." Raul de la Puente, President, National Association of Chilean Fiscal Employees, saying: (Spanish) "We are not for a gradual readjustment, and so we reject this proposal."
