The first winter storm of the year causes traffic problems, power outages and flight delays in many parts of Sweden.
The storm headed out to the Baltic Sea and about 2,300 households in around the capital Stockholm had lost power overnight.
At Sweden's largest airport, Arlanda, airport maintenance crews struggled to keep the runways clear of snow. But despite their efforts, flights were cancelled, delayed or had to be redirected to nearby airports.
Motorists faced similar problems with snow and wind combining to cover the roads. Although ploughs were out in force trying to keep the roads open, many motorists found themselves stuck in snow.
