British Prime Minister Gordon Brown meets Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi and Pakistan's leader President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad pledging to work together to counter terrorism
Gordon Brown met with his Indian counterpart in New Delhi to calm rising tensions between India and Pakistan after the Mumbai attacks last month. He then went on to meet President Zadari the Pakistani leader where he pledged to join forces in the fight against terrorism. India has blamed the attacks on Pakistan-based militants and has accused the militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), which it says was set up by Pakistan to fight Indian rule in Kashmir.
