The president of the U.S. peanut company blamed for a salmonella outbreak refused to answer questions before Congress.
Government officials say they have evidence that internal tests conducted by Peanut Corporation found 12 instances of salmonella since 2007 at the Blakely, Georgia facility, but the company sold the product anyway.
