Russia Ukraine sign gas deal

Russia and Ukraine agree on a price for gas in 2009, clearing the way to restore gas supplies to Europe, where millions have been without Russian fuel in mid-winter. The neighbours say they will quickly restore supplies to Ukraine and the gas it transports across its territory to Europe.
