Many investors appear to be pinning some of their hopes on gold and other precious metals to weather the global financial storm. Gold fell more than one per cent on Friday (14th April) on the stronger dollar and lower oil prices but the approaching Christmas period and the traditional wedding season in India appear to have renewed its sparkle in the eyes of investors.Paul Chapman reports.
