Actor Daniel Craig took up the role of James Bond for 2006’s “Casino Royale” and was the first to portray the special agent as a blue-eyed blonde. He takes up the part once more, this time amidst confidence in his adequacy as 007, in the upcoming “Quantum of Solace.”
The 22nd installment of the Bond franchise has largely been surrounded by mystery but some key details were revealed Thursday at Pinewood Studios outside London where the cast and crew are currently filming, Reuters UK reports.
On one hand, we have the title, which comes from an Ian Fleming short story in the “For Your Eyes Only” collection published in 1960, which previously inspired titles for the 1981 film starring Roger Moore and 1987's “The Living Daylights,” starring Timothy Dalton.
On the other hand, we now know that Ukrainian model Olga Kurylenko’s character, Bond girl Camille, will lead Bond to Dominic Greene (portrayed by Mathieu Amalric), member of a mysterious organization and a ruthless businessman, seeking to control huge natural resources.
