Just like the country it celebrates, this film is a melting pot of stories and genres. Combining drama with documentary, PROUD AMERICAN features impressive shots of the United States' most beautiful vistas, all shot from the air. However, this film doesn't feature only America's scenery; it focuses on its people as well, including a young man who struggles to survive in a crime-filled neighborhood, a Navy SEAL with painful injuries, and a Jewish family facing the aftermath of a hate crime. The men and women in the military also take center stage in this film, which honors the sacrifices they make.
