Barack Obama is widening his lead among the crucial independent voting bloc on the eve of the Presidential debate. Obama's stock has risen as Wall Street stocks plunged. Voters polled believe he would do a better job of managing the economy than John McCain. Reuters' Fred Katayama canvassed voter's opinions at a Wal-mart in Watchung, New Jersey.
