Militants and hostage die in blast

Three Islamic militants who were planning an attack in Pakistan's biggest city,have blown themselves and a hostage up during a police raid on their hideout. Local media said there was an exchange of fire between the police and militants before they blew themselves up and the house collapsed. The body of a transport company owner, taken hostage several months ago, was found among the rubble. Sonia Legg reports.
