'Many dead' in Afghan air strike

Afghan officials say a U.S. air strike has killed a number of civilians at a wedding party in southern Afghanistan. The incident happed in a remote area of Kandahar province, in an area where Taliban fighters were engaged with U.S. forces. Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai has repeatedly critised the high number of civilian casualties caused by U.S. and Nato bombings, and he called on President-elect Barack Obama to put an end to them. Helen Long reports.
