Trainee architect Ricardo Assis-Rosa avoids the rush hour commute by travelling to work in a kayak. No longer does Ricardo have to wait around for buses to get to work, most mornings he simply walks to the bottom of his garden in Bath, western England, hops into his kayak and paddles upstream to his office. His work colleagues have gotten used to seeing Ricardo turn up in a wetsuit. Ricardo says the journey keeps him fit, allows him to enjoy nature and at the same time is environmentally friendly. Hayley Platt reports.
