Israeli missiles hit Gaza Strip

The southern Gaza Strip has been struck by Israeli missiles. The Israeli army targeted what they described as "tunnels" in the Gaza-Egypt border area, which the Palestinians use to bring goods into the sealed-off territory. According to an Israeli army spokesperson, the tunnels were also being used to smuggle in arms and ammunition. Nine Palestinians were reported to have been injured. Israeli security forces also stepped up security ahead of Friday prayers. Andrew Potter reports.
