Israeli PM's bid to free soldier

Hamas and Israel have both taken a stubborn stance over the fate of captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. The Palestinian group refuses to consider returning him as part of a truce and the outgoing Israeli president is hoping to secure his freedom before he leaves office. Ehud Olmert is to convene his security cabinet on Wednesday to consider swapping Palestinian prisoners for Shalit as part of a ceasefire deal with Hamas. Sonia Legg reports.
