The trial of the Iraqi reporter who threw his shoes at President Bush in Baghdad has been postponed pending an appeal over whether the incident amounted to an assault. TV journalist Muntazar al-Zaidi shot to instant global fame when he shouted "this is a goodbye kiss from the Iraqi people, dog" and hurled both his shoes at Bush during a joint news conference with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki this month. He is charged with assault against a foreign head of state visiting Iraq, which could carry a 15-year prison term. Sonia Legg reports.
