As Austrian mourners come to pay their respects to late far-right politican Joerg Haider, a party official says he was drunk when he died in a high-speed crash.
The controversial 58-year-old politician was killed when the car he was driving crashed off a road in Austria's southern province Carinthia, where he served as governor.Haider was driving at 142 kmh (88mph), around twice the speed limit, and the new leader of Haider's party confirmed reports that Haider had almost four times the legal limit of alcohol in his blood.Joanna Partridge reports.
