There was a heavy police presence for the march through central Athens by about 10, 000 demonstrators. The annual commemorative march is usually dogged by some clashes with police but heavy rain appeared to cool tempers for this year's event which saw some stone-throwing and a few petrol bombs which exploded without harming anyone.Paul Chapman reports.
