Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi met with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in Meindorf, Russia. This is the Libyan leader's first visit to Russia since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Gaddafi laid a wreath at Moscow's tomb of the unknown soldier. Energy and arms are the focus of the three-day trip. Russian media reported that Gaddafi may be looking to buy more than two billion US Dollars of arms from Russia.
