Rescuers in north China are still hunting on Wednesday (September 10) for dozens of victims feared trapped under a deluge of mud after a reservoir for mine waste collapsed, killing more than 50 people.
Two weeks of incessant flooding has killed at least 12 people in five northern districts in Bangladesh and affected nearly four million people, of whom nearly 200,000 have been forced from their homes.
