Fallout from Georgia conflict widens

Diplomatic ties, and sanction and retaliation threats take centre stage in the aftershocks of the conflict in Georgia. Georgia has halted entry visas at its border for Russian citizens and the European Union is preparing for an emergency summit following the conflict that erupted after Georgian troops tried to re-take the Moscow-backed breakaway region of South Ossetia by force.
