A group of European tourists have returned home unharmed after they were held hostage in Egypt for 10 days. Eleven European tourists and eight Egyptians were abducted in a remote border area of Egypt. The five Italians appeared in good health and smiled as they left the military aircraft that had brought them home from Egypt. Masked gunmen seized the group of tourists on September 19 from a desert safari near Egypt's borders with Sudan and Libya, whisked them into Sudan and demanded a multi-million-dollar ransom. Sonia Legg reports.
