The race for the White House isn't the only race taking place in Washington as dozens of drag queens ran in high heels on Tuesday (October 28) in the 23rd "High-heel race."
Traditionally, the race is held on the Tuesday before Halloween, and becomes an informal block party after the race is completed.
With the impending presidential election this year's race had a distinctly political theme to it.
