Italians are being urged not to buy bread for the day in protest at the high price of a traditional loaf. The bread strike was organised by consumer groups angry that falling wheat prices aren't being passed on to customers. They accuse bakers of speculating as prices rise globally on most products. But bakers say the cost of wheat is only one of their expenses, they also have increased electricity costs and higher salaries to pay in order to keep their bakeries running. Sonia Legg reports.
