US President Bush has called on the US to promote democracy around the world; now Georgia presents a test case of such promises. Bush once hailed Georgia's fledgling democracy as a "beacon of liberty." Now, as Bush winds down his second term, Russian forces now occupy parts of Georgia, and Moscow has ignored Western demands to withdraw its forces.Deborah Lutterbeck reports.
