China executes killer

China has executed a man convicted of killing six police officers. The 28 year old man stabbed a security guard and nine police officers on July 1st. Six of the Shanghai officers died. His execution has attracted widespread criticism over accusations that he would not receive a fair trial. An appeal against his sentence was turned down in October. Jia is believed to have murdered the officers out of revenge for abuse that he suffered whilst in police custody on suspicion of theft. Basmah Fahim reports.
