China drought threatens millions

Around 4.4 million people in China are affected by the country's worst drought in decades. Farmland between Beijing and the Yangtze river has had very little rain or snow since November. Around half of the country's wheat-growing fields are at risk from drought, and farmers are trying to irrigate their land by storing the little water that they have. But researchers say the situation would have been much better if proper irrigation systems were in place. Basmah Fahim reports.
