President Bush told a Middle East broadcasting network that the war in Iraq has taken longer than he expected. Bush in the interview said one of his biggest regrets was the Abu Ghraib prison scandal, which unleashed a wave of global condemnation against the United States when images of abused prisoners surfaced in 2004.
