Bush, Obama and McCain meet for talks on passing a landmark package to rescue battered financial markets. Bush said he hoped the meeting, which was suggested by McCain, an Arizona Republican who has seen his poll numbers in the presidential race drop in recent days, would help the various constituencies bridge their differences.
