Millionaire adventurer Sir Richard Branson and British Olympic sailing hero ben Ainslie have set off from New York in an attempt to break a transatlantic sailing record.
The billionaire founder of the Virgin Group is sailing with his children Holly, 26, and Sam, 23, as he returns to his record-breaking ways after a break of more than 10 years.They're aiming to break the record for a transatlantic crossing in a single-hulled sailboat.Sir Richard has previously set the record for crossing the Atlantic in the fastest recorded time in a powerboat in 1986 and flew across the same ocean in the largest ever hot air balloon the following year.Sonia Legg reports.
