Rebels who are holding three workers, from the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Philippines, threaten to behead one of them.
The rebels said if troops did not stop pursuing them, they will kill one of the hostages. The rebels are from the Abu Sayyaf group, who are linked to the regional Islamist group Jemaah Islamiyah, who have a history of beheading their captives. The three Red Cross workers were seized on the southern island of Jolo on January 15th.
