Australia confronts climate chaos

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is expected to come under renewed pressure to introduce a tougher climate policy later this year as a result of the nation's deadliest bushfires and Queensland flooding. Severe flooding triggered by storms cut off towns and stopped mining operations in three Australian states, the latest in a series of extreme weather conditions to wreak havoc in the country. Authorities are still counting the human cost of last week's deadly wildfires, which are thought to have killed 300 people. Helen Long reports
