Afghan operation risks Soviet fate

Twenty years after the Soviet Union was forced to admit defeat and withdraw its troops from Afghanistan, the West is struggling to avoid a similar fate. After numerous mistakes in the campaign against a Taliban-led insurgency, time may be running out for Western efforts to build a stable Afghanistan. Afghan President Hamid Karzai wins U.S. agreement to conduct an urgent review of the war. Peter Parker reports.
