AIG ends Man U deal

Troubled U.S. insurer AIG will not be renewing its shirt sponsorship deal with Manchester United when it expires next year. The firm, once the world's biggest insurer by market value, averted bankruptcy last year with an 85 billion dollar bailout from the U.S. government which later swelled to 152 billion and is now selling assets and cutting costs to repay some of the rescue package.
