19 die in second Mexican jail riot

Nineteen prisoners have been killed and a dozen wounded in a second riot in less than a week at a jail in the Mexican border city of Tijuana. The latest riot erupted with deadly force on Wednesday. Scores of prisoners hurled rocks and stones at riot police below as a fire raged in the prison compound. The riot police responded with gun fire as onlookers watched the confrontation. Sonia Legg reports.
