World, Meet the Jolie-Pitt Babies; Baby Twins, Welcome!

Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt have been presented to the world via People magazine, who reportedly shelled out some $14 million in order to create a 19-page family photo album available on newsstands Monday, Aug. 4.

Can you imagine the ohs and ahs going on around the world as person after person lays their eyes on the cuteness and cuddliness that is a glowing Angelina Jolie holding three-week-old twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline in her arms while an emotional Brad Pitt looks on at them with love?

People magazine managed what many others wanted, some quite desperately, and even more than some dreamed of: the magazine promises a “complete story,” 19 pages of intimate family photos and a nice long interview with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in tis new special double issue.

Snippets offered online Sunday evening have the parents of six describing their growing household as chaotic yet manageable.

Mom, dad and brood, now including the lovely twins born July 12 by caesarean section, at the Lenval Hospital in southern France, currently live in the Château Miraval in Provence, France.

The media frenzy regarding the pregnancy and then the birth has been out of this world, with paparazzi going as far as trespassing the family’s private property in order to snatch photos of the twins, of Maddox, of Shiloh, of anybody resembling a Jolie-Pitt!

One such adventure ended with arrests last month for two intrepid photographers who were wearing camouflage gear and attacked bodyguards when they were discovered lurking around the grounds.

“It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time,” Angelina Jolie told people, focusing on the joys of parenthood and of sharing the twin addition to the family with older children Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2.

Shiloh is the couple’s only other biological child, born May 2006 in Namibia. Maddox, the first child adopted by Angelina Jolie (while she was still married to actor Billy Bob Thornton), is a Cambodian native, while Zahara comes from Ethiopia and Pax is Vietnamese-born.

The cover of the special issue focusing on the Jolie-Pitt family also features little Shiloh holding sister Vivienne in her tiny arms.

The proud parents reveal the children love playing outdoors, with hide and seek being a favorite pastime. Pitt describes their home as “still a cuckoo’s nest.”

Chaotic as it may be at times, the family is united, especially when it comes to taking care of the newborns. “[Shiloh] and Z pick out [the twins’] clothes and help change and hold them,” says the 33-year-old mother. “It’s sweet – they are little mommies.”

Further delicious information is to be learned from within the issue’s pages. People magazine has not confirmed or commented on reports that it paid $14 million for the exclusive photos.

People magazine received joint rights to publish the photos with British magazine Hello!. The money is reported to be given to charity, through the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.

An anonymous source confirmed the $14 million deal, the most expensive celebrity baby photos ever taken, to the Associated Press.

People is slowly making a habit of offering the world a first look at a Jolie-Pitt baby, after Shiloh appeared on the cover with mom and dad in 2006, for a reported $4 million donation.
