After two women had arrived at a Tampa, Florida, hospital because of the cosmetic injections which had meant to give them a Jennifer Lopez style bottom, the police caught the woman responsible for the condition of the two.

Zakiya Teagle, 33, and Andrea Lee, 30, are in a critical condition now. The two women received the injections at a private home in the community of Town ‘N Country. Because of the injected substance, Lee had suffered total kidney failure.

The Hillsborough County sheriff’s office has been searching for the woman who had administrated the injections illegally and a warrant for her arrest was issued on Monday. Sharhonda Lindsay of Tampa is the woman who had practiced medicine without having any license to do so.

The spokesman for the sheriff’s office, JD Callaway, stated that the case seems to be an almost bootleg cosmetology. He added that the two women had known Lindsay and had also known that the Tampa woman had given such butt injections to other women too.

Lindsay injected Hydrogel, a silicone-based substance and saline solution, according to the two women’s statements. One of them received 40 shots during 90 minutes and the other one got 20 shots during the same amount of time.

Lindsay, 32, was charged on Wednesday with practicing medicine without a license. She had turned herself in to the Hillsborough County Sherriff’s Office on Wednesday. The investigators believe that Lindsay mixed the Hydrogel in a plastic bowl before it had injected it into Lee and Teagle.

Callaway also said that the sheriff’s office isn’t aware of cases alike, even if the two women stick to the fact that Lindsay had done other women too. Yet, she had been quickly released on $50,000 bond.
