Here is a man who clings on to those darn 15 minutes with his teeth and claws and still manages to bring on the drama: Kevin Federline “will always love” and “always be there” for former wife Britney Spears.

Kevin Federline professes to In Touch Weekly magazine this week that he has been on full-time daddy duty ever since being granted full custody of his toddler sons with pop singer Britney Spears Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 28 months.

“I spend most of the day chasing my kids around the house,” he says. “Their needs define my schedule every day.”

Federline, 30, has had sole custody since January, after Britney refused to hand over the children at the scheduled time and a standoff with police followed. The couple wed in October 2004, had their two babies, then divorced last July, initially agreeing to share joint physical and legal custody of their sons.

A bitter custody feud ensued, paralleled by months of odd and chaotic behavior from the 26-year-old singer. She is currently under the court-ordered conservatorship of her father, James Spears, and has only recently been allowed to see her children again after being forbidden due to the January incident.

Federline declares to In Touch Weekly that he wants his boys to appreciate Britney for the loving mother she is. “It is so very important to me that my children will always know and never question, that no matter what happens, they have a mommy and daddy who love them very much,” he said.

The aspiring musician has two other young children with a former girlfriend and he confesses he is just as devoted to them. “I will always love the mothers of my children, and I will always be there for both of them,” he told the magazine.

“I believe that any good energy I put out there brings more good energy into my own life. The relationships with my kids and family will last my whole life and are the most important to me,” he added.

And his aspirations to sainthood do not end here. Not only is he bravely coping with life’s vicissitudes, he hopes to help others cope as well, by giving a good example.

“I’m going to be the best role model for my kids. And if that example helps other young, single dads who might be going through the same experiences that I am right now, it would be a great compliment.”

Federline was a backup dancer when he and Britney, then at the height of her career, an international star and a model to millions of teenagers around the world, met and fell in love.

He released his debut album, “Playing with Fire,” in October 2006; it received extremely poor reviews. He has since dabbled in television, making guest appearances on “CSI” and “One Tree Hill.”
