If, for some unknown reason, one is not familiar with 2008 in the context of Miley Cyrus, Cyrus’s downfall began with her pulling her shirt down to expose her bra and then taking a picture of herself. She was fifteen.
 

Later that year, she was involved in a Vanity Fair photo shoot in which she was wearing a bed sheet and nothing else, exposing only her back. This picture inspired thousands of angry letters to Disney and an apology from Cyrus to her fans.
 

Moreover remember Britney Spears and the alleged self-mutilation of new star Demi Lovato. In 2008, Lovato starred alongside the Jonas Brothers in the Disney Channel Original Movie, “Camp Rock.” She played Mitchie Torres, a fourteen-year-old girl with hopes of becoming a singer. The movie premiered on June 20 in the USA on Disney Channel, and in Canada on Family.
 

Nevertheless parents of young teens remain hopeful that yet-unblemished teenage stars like iCarly's Miranda Cosgrove will keep their dignity and clothes intact, it's impossible to shake the uneasy feeling that our kids are under attack from social activists and child pornographers.
