Is Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s marriage coming to a standstill? Although it may sound as a mere rumor, the New York Daily News has cited a source as saying that the couple was preparing to make a breakup announcement.

 

The two singers have been married for approximately four years and are the parents of 10-month-old twins.

 

The source told the publication that things between the stars had not “been right for a while now” and that they had decided to organize a “bittersweet farewell.” In addition, the person whose name was undisclosed told the newspaper that Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez were planning to make their impending divorce public immediately after the gig J.Lo’s hubby is scheduled to hold at Madison Square Garden on February 14.

 

In spite of the fact that Valentine’s Day is a time for love and compassion, the 39-year-old “The Governess” star reportedly intends to join her 40-year-old husband on stage and sing with him a surprise duet.

 

The source added that the couple was “definitely planning a clean break in February.”

If the two announced their split during a show, it would not be the first time they proclaim information regarding ther personal lives during a concert, as Jennifer Lopez announced during a 2007 Miami gig that she was pregnant.

 

Twins Max and Esme are the couple’s only children.

 

Although the singers renewed their wedding vows just three months ago, reports started claiming that their marriage was on the rocks since J.Lo made an appearance early in December at “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” without wearing her wedding ring.

 

While a spokesman for Marc Anthony denied all reports, a representative for Jennifer Lopez would not respond to the newspaper’s request for a comment.
