Ellen DeGeneres, 50, and Portia De Rossi, 35, are getting married in California this weekend according to US Weekly. The comedian and talk-show host plans to wed De Rossi, 35, as the two have been a couple for four years now.

This is now possible due to The California Supreme Court’s ruling, according to which same sex marriages are no longer banned.

A few days after the ruling, DeGeneres announced on her Emmy-winning show that she and De Rossi were planning to wed. It's something that we've wanted to do and we want it to be legal and we are very, very excited," DeGeneres said in May.

The ceremony is said to be very intimate and it will take place at an undisclosed California location.

One person who will definitely be there is “Grey’s Anatomy” star T.R. Knight. Portia and Ellen share a home in Beverly Hills, California and have several cats and dogs. DeGeneres and De Rossi began dating in December 2004.

An inside source said that "Portia is wearing a flowing, form-fitting dress by Zac Posen." Ellen DeGeneres can be seen daily on her television talk show.

Portia de Rossi can currently be seen in the television show "Nip/Tuck."

"I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote and segregation and anything else that seems ridiculous that we don't all have the same rights," DeGeneres said. She also feels that she has found her perfect fit and both of them had a lot to learn from each other.
