Warriors Beat the Suns at Their Own Game, 114-129

The Golden State Warriors were hotter then the Suns and by beating them 129-114 at ORACLE Arena they ended Phoenix’s eight-game winning streak.

The Warriors were 13-of-28 from three-point range and scored 45 points in the opening quarter.

"That was a quality win - our best game of the year, (or) it was close,'' Nelson said.
”I thought it was a good game, and a fun game to coach.''

"We just turned the ball over a lot,'' D'Antoni said.”A lot of them were unforced, and maybe they wore out legs out. We need to get into better shape from some of the guys.''

After Baron Davis tossed up a three-pointer for a 110-96 Golden State lead with 9:33 left in the game, Monta Ellis began his show. He started his run with a 17-foot jumper and went on to score 15 straight points. He didn’t stop until after scoring on a driving lay-up that left the score board showing 125-110 with 3:36 left.
