Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are in our faces again, this
time with the would-be singer wishing to honor her late stepbrother’s memory
(he fought in Iraq and Afghanistan) by performing for U. S. troops in the
Middle East and her manager/boyfriend using the opportunity to promote a new
product.
Any publicity is good publicity right? Bad, bawdy,
offensive, boring, tacky, it doesn’t matter for “The Hills” couple Heidi Montag
and Spencer Pratt, affectionately named Speidi by the media.
The two took the time to talk to Extra and detail their
upcoming plans of visiting the Middle East where Montag wants to sing for the U. S. troops, as a way of honoring her late
stepbrother, Eric O’Hara, who was a veteran of combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
O’Hara died this year, at 24, in an accident at the
Steamboat Springs, Colo.,
hotel where he worked.
“My brother was an airborne ranger in Afghanistan and Iraq,” Montag told Extra. “It’s
very important to me and important to Spencer to support the troops and go over
there.”
The couple also explained that the person making their trip
possible is Meghan McCain, daughter of Republican presidential hopeful John McCain
“She’s very sweet,” Montag
told Extra. “I think we have a lot in common.”
To which Pratt added, “I think Meghan McCain is helping
organize Heidi and our Iraq
trip. Her dad definitely has some pull with the military. I think she’s going
to put that together for us.”
Ever the entrepreneur, Pratt also took the time to share
news that a new video game will soon be sold at Kitson, a video game that will
satisfy fans’ “wildest dreams.”
