People magazine is reporting Minnesota Timberwolves player Marko Jaric married Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima. The Daily News reports that many of their friends and family members could not make it to the nuptials because of the short notice. The couple reportedly got hitched in a quickie ceremony on Valentine’s Day.

"We are so excited about our future together," Lima told People magazine. "And we are really looking forward to a big romantic wedding this summer with all of our friends and family." Lima, 27, met Jaric, a 30-year-old native of Serbia, in 2006.

Lima didn't elaborate on why she and Jaric eloped. Her rep denies reports that the supermodel is pregnant. Jaric, a shooting guard for the Memphis Grizzlies, proposed to his lady love on June 12 (her birthday).

Lima is a Brazilian supermodel best known for her work as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. Jaric, 29, is a guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves. "I was not the person to fall in love easily," Jaric told People last March. "I am a difficult person from that standpoint. Now, it's a little different situation." In the meantime, Miss Lima told press that she’s overjoyed to be Mrs. Jaric, and can’t wait to get started on the rest of their lives together.

The magazine also reports the pair is planning a large wedding with their friends and family for this summer. Possible locations are Lima's home of Brazil or Jaric's native Serbia.
