Victoria Beckham used the New York Fashion Week to show off a brand new haircut, which makes her look younger, a bit more refined, and relaxed at the same time.

After years of sporting the bob haircut, which launched a trend in hair salons all over the world, the former Spice Girl said she got bored of it and “fancied a change.”

In the past, she also tried out hair extensions and dyed her hair blond. But the new look seems to suit best both her skin tone and face shape.

She unveiled the drastic look change yesterday, during New York Fashion Week, where she sat beside her friend Jennifer Lopez.

Victoria was a very elegant and classy appearance, wearing a strapless, belted black dress from her debut fashion collection and pairing it with matching heels.

The ex-Spice launched her collection in New York with a range of dresses that many editors and buyers described as “beautiful, desirable and classy.” There is also news that several stores are fighting over the rights to sell the collection.

Available in sizes six to 14, Victoria described the dresses as "suitable for all ages" and called celebrities Nigella Lawson and Dame Helen Mirren ideal customers.

The collection debuted via private viewings at the historic Waldorf hotel, and Victoria revealed that not even her husband David had seen all the finished pieces.

She said she had been working on this for 34 years, as she always wanted to be a fashion designer.

“Then along came the Spice Girls,” she added, which opened a lot of doors for me. And, let's be honest, closed a lot. But those days are over. I was never going to be the world's best singer, but I hope I can be a good designer.”
