The “Ugly Betty” family is about to get larger. People magazine is reporting that 37 year-old Ana Ortiz, is pregnant.

 

The actress who plays Betty's sister Hilda on the show, admitted to People back in September that the future moms on set managed to intensify her desire to become one as well. She was also very eager to get pregnant because of her age too.Therefore, after 36-year-old fellow cast mate Rebecca Romjin gave birth to twin girls last week with her actor husband Jerry O’Connell, Ortiz made the big announcement about her own pregnancy. She and her husband, Noah Lebenzon, the guitarist for the band Half Life, are expecting her bundle of joyat the end of July, according to People magazine.This will be the couple’s first child.

 

"They are thrilled and ecstatic," says a friend of the couple. "They can't wait to be parents."

 

Ortiz and Lebenzon met at a friend’s party and later tied the knot in June 2007 in Puerto Rico accompanied by her “Ugly Betty” costars.

 

Rebecca Romjin celebrated Ortiz’s announcement this week, telling Monsters and Critics, how happy she is for her. Moreover, she thinks that Ana will make a great mom.
