The police in Snohomish have arrested two men who are being suspected for a home invasion robbery, during which they tied up a woman for several hours. The robbery happened on December 4th, in the morning, the house probably being selected because the robbers believed it may contain valuable items.
The woman was home alone at the time and robbers tied her down for several hours, during which they stole different items from the house they broke in. After overpowering the woman, the robbers stole a pick-up truck and some guns, which sounds disturbing as these kind of people may cause serious injuries to innocent bypassers.
One of the men was arrested on Monday by Tacoma police officers after being stopped for a traffic violation. The police officer saw a bag containing some of the stolen items in the car and arrested the man. The 41 year old man is booked for the Pierce County Jail.
The other man was arrested on Tuesday, also being stopped for a traffic violation. The man is currently booked in Snohomish county jail. The two men if found guilty will face charges for robbery, kidnapping and burglary. According to the police some of the items that were stolen were recovered.
Unfortunately, the simple fact of being robbed in your own home, being overpowered and tied down can leave some serious emotional scars. Justice will certainly take care of the ones responsible, but it still is a shame that these things happen and that innocent people have to suffer.
